I would like to nominate Bob Stadelmayer for this employee spotlight recognition. On a daily basis, Bob is called upon to step in and support the dealership team wherever and whenever he’s needed, and he does so with professionalism, grace, and a clear understanding of how vital his role is to keeping the business moving forward. Despite being constantly inundated with requests, Bob consistently delivers excellent customer service by staying attentive to the needs of his internal “customers,” effectively prioritizing solutions, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks—all while balancing the critical responsibilities of managing and improving our IT systems and infrastructure. He takes great pride in his work, holds himself to a high standard, and remains committed to doing things the right way, even under pressure. Beyond his professional contributions, Bob brings personality and passion to the team—especially as a longtime IU football fan, making this past season one he won’t soon forget. He was nominated by Zach.
Bob has been a valued member of the O’Daniel Automotive Group team for about three and a half years. One of his favorite aspects of working here is the freedom and trust he receives from leadership, especially Zach, who encourages new ideas and provides strong support. Outside of work, Bob centers his life around his family, who he says he simply couldn’t live without. Known by his close friends as warped, loyal, and introverted, Bob brings a unique personality to the team. If stranded on a desert island, he’d choose Greg McConiga, Greg Shediack, and Josh Burkhardt for their shared sense of humor. While he doesn’t have a specific dream car, Bob finds joy in the simple things—especially spending his free time fishing with his daughter, Brittany, which he values as a peaceful escape from everything else. If he were to write a memoir, he’d fittingly title it “How to Mess Things Up…without really trying.”
