Dawson goes above and beyond his role, stepping in to help customers on the lot if he sees someone in need, even when it’s outside his immediate responsibilities. His positivity, strong communication skills, and genuine love for what he does make him a natural leader. Dawson has big aspirations for the future—whether it’s becoming a manager, a top-tier salesman like his father, or even starting his own franchise someday—and his dedication and passion make it clear he’s well on his way.
Dawson Garrett has been a valued member of the O’Daniel Automotive Group team for the past three years. What he enjoys most about his role is truly “everything”—from talking with and seeing his coworkers to taking on new challenges each day, he appreciates that no two days are ever the same. Dawson’s faith in God is central to his life, and he brings that grounding presence into his work. If stranded on a desert island, he says he would choose to be with Tyler R., Nick Schenkel, and Nick S.—relying on their resourcefulness while also knowing there would be plenty of laughter to keep spirits high. His dream cars reflect both ambition and passion: while fresh out of college he’d love to drive an Audi RS5 or Porsche Macan GTS, his lifetime goal is owning the Porsche 918 Spyder. Friends describe him as accountable, kind, and extraverted, and he jokes that if he ever wrote a memoir, it would be titled Garrett Vol. 5. Outside of work, Dawson still enjoys being around cars—whether cleaning his own or helping detail one at the dealership.
