We're thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our outstanding team members at O'Daniel Automotive Group - Terry Taylor! Terry has been an invaluable part of our family for the past 3.5 years, starting his journey with us on March 4, 2020, as a part-time employee, working diligently three days a week, from Wednesday through Friday.
When asked about his favorite part of working at O'Daniel's, Terry's face lights up with enthusiasm. He shares, "We have awesome customers who appreciate our honesty, integrity, professionalism, and doing the job right the first time. I'm honored to get them where they need to go or pick them up as the shuttle driver in a safe manner." Terry's commitment to exceptional service is truly commendable.

He goes the extra mile to ensure our customers have a smooth and hassle-free experience. Beyond his professional duties, Terry volunteers his time for various charitable causes in our community, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact beyond our dealership. Additionally, he takes the initiative to maintain a clean and sanitized environment when he's not busy shuttling people around, contributing to the overall well-being of our team and customers. But there's more to Terry than his dedication to his work. He values the people he works with and enjoys the camaraderie at O'Daniel Automotive Group. When asked who he would choose to be stranded on a desert island with, he thoughtfully selects colleagues Becky Rose, Brian Dietz, and Lauren O'Daniel. "Becky is dedicated, caring, and has attention to detail. Brian has a great sense of humor, is knowledgeable, and always does the job right. Lauren has high energy, a great smile, and a contagious laugh. They make coming to work fun, and we complement each other."
Terry's down-to-earth nature extends beyond the workplace, as he is a devoted family man. When asked about the one thing he can't live without, he answers with a smile, "My lovely wife of 34 years." It's evident that his family holds a special place in his heart.
Despite his busy schedule, Terry finds time for activities he enjoys. In his "free time," he loves golfing, spending quality time with his wife, their three dogs, and two cats, as well as actively supporting veterans. He's an officer with the local Marine Corps League and serves as the board president of their HOA.
Terry Taylor can be described in three words by his close friends: dedicated, organized, and efficient. His dedication to both his work and the community is truly commendable, and we're fortunate to have him as a part of our O'Daniel Automotive Group family.
If Terry were to write a memoir about his life, he humorously suggests it might be titled, "Husband - Dad - Grandpa."
